Over the last weekend of September, Gracie Barra Costa Mesa took 19 competitors to the Dream Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Tournament. Located at the Cerrito’s High School gym, Professor Scott, Coach Pat, Coach Ashleigh, & Coach Juan helped Gracie Barra win and grow as a school. 
Every kid showed a lot of heart, getting after their opponent’s – many of whom become friends and training partners afterwards. If you are interested in getting your kid competing or looking for tips to tell your kid, make sure they are training at least 3x/week, eating healthy and staying hydrated, getting to bed on time, and most importantly, having fun training Jiu Jitsu!
